CultureCom is a long standing specialist division within MediaCom, specifically developed to meet increasing client demands in understanding, targeting and developing a long-term relationship with the diverse cultural communities within the UK. CultureCom is not just about targeting ethnic communities through ethnic media, but redefining the way we view use of mainstream media and how this can be used as an effective route for targeting ethnic communities. CultureCom also helps unlock which mainstream products and services are likely to have a greater propensity to be bought and consumed by ethnic groups. It is no longer about race or colour - as communities evolve, clients must evolve with them. This is done by understanding their culture and lifestyle. We have crafted unique ways in developing our understanding of these communities, together with our ongoing work with clients who are active within this sector. To improve the usage and understanding of cultural media, we have developed grading tools that rank media and make media selection more accountable. This in turn helps ethnic media owners further improve the quality of their propositions.
