MediaCom retains £100m Universal Music European media business

MediaCom has won Universal Music’s £100million media planning and buying account across Europe after a year long review, and a pitch against Carat. MediaCom were the incumbent agency for the account in the UK, which last year generated £30m. Universal artists include Amy Winehouse, U2, Elton John and Take That, signed to its various record labels which include A&M, Island, Polydor and Decca.
